Mark Harding
HMS co-director Mark Harding is a multi-award winning journalist and publisher. Formerly managing editor and publisher for the leading custom publishing agency Pacific Client Publishing, he knows all facets of the publishing process and understands that every client has a separate vision and therefore different requirements.
Mark is also a highly credentialled Melbourne journalist. After doing his cadetship at The Sporting Globe, learning from some of the finest sportswriters of their day, he worked in Age Racing for ten years before moving to The Herald And Weekly Times. There, he wrote the news column On The Spot for The Herald in Melbourne and later was a Day Sports Editor for the Herald Sun. He was chief sportswriter for Australia’s first weekly magazine Sports Weekly and continues to write football, golf, racing and Olympic sports for the Sunday Herald Sun, The Age and various magazines.
Mark is also the producer of the weekly television show Racing World and several boutique series, including Jump, the award-winning Spring, its cousin Spring Classics and Champions of Racing.
Karen Harding
Karen Harding is co-director of Harding Media Services and manages its day to day operation. Her organisational skills and business acumen are complemented by her client relationship capabilities. Karen is experienced in project management and editing and understands custom publishing and the special needs of clients in fulfilling their marketing vision.
She is also an accomplished writer, sub-editor and proofreader, working across the range of HMS publications as well as outside projects. Karen has written for Landmark magazine and Quest Kudos magazine on gardening and lifestyle subjects, is a regular contributor to Women’s GOLF magazine, has written for The Age and Golf Victoria on golf and Women’s Inside Racing on horse racing and is the author of the historical section of Women’s Golf Victoria’s Centenary Address Book.
Evan Harding
Evan Harding is a talented journalist and television producer. After completing a Bachelor of Commerce (Sport Management/Marketing) and a Graduate Diploma of Journalism, he worked for Sportsbrand Media Group, firstly as an Associate Producer and later Producer on the ICC Cricket World show. Evan also helped create the pilot episode of FIFA World Basketball and produced the vignette series 60 Seconds With.... , as well as contributing freelance articles to several magazines, before heading over to London to gain more experience and see something of Europe.
Evan is currently producing Players’ Lives as well as working on other HMS projects and continues to write freelance articles for outside publications.
